DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. Piece of crap company, I would give no stars if I could. My mom paid for the move to Puerto Rico from Chicago. Everything has mold because they allowed it to get wet, including her furniture, clothes, electronics and other personal items. She paid for the insurance and she's not even getting close to that amount back. The items sat at a warehouse collecting mold while wet, and now they won't even answer her calls. They do nothing to help or try to make it work. It is unfortunate that people have to deal with such bull crap from a business. They should close this company down if this is how they run their business.

I used La Rosa Del Monte several years ago to move my household from Chicago to Miami. They were suggested by Puerto Rican friends who were stuck using them to get things to Puerto Rico, although they were not pleased with their experiences. La Rosa turned out to be the worst moving company I have ever used. They pulverized carefully packed and marked boxes of dishes and glassware that had to have been slammed to the ground to cause that sort of damage. They wrapped and 'protected' a carved antique sideboard that arrived with a large gash on the edge. (They did attempt a repair locally in Miami but the results were far from satisfactory.) They wrapped my Steelcase office chair and tied it so tightly that the twine tore a gash into the seat and back cushions. I would never use them again and I would highly recommend against using them.I've moved back to Chicago, this time using a U-Haul and hiring local movers to unpack the truck. I should have done that when I moved to Miami.

It has been five weeks, 25 business day and no furniture.  I paid them their money but they can even deliver. I've reported them to the Better Business Bureau.
