While initially feeling very confident after my conversations in setting up my move, I was disappointed and frustrated when they were unresponsive the day before and day of my move. They made a point to say they would call and confirm the day before, which they did not, and I left multiple un-returned messages.The morning of my move, they arrived late, having gone to my new apartment rather than current. The two movers projected a 4hour job, which for one person's belongings was far more than I was quoted, and was quite an absurd assumption. The two movers were very slow and not at all time efficient - it was clear they wanted to milk the time for as long as possible since I was paying them by the hour. My fiance and I (as well as the new tenants who were wanting to move in after me) all assisted in the heavy lifting and moving since the two Handy Hands movers were going so slowly. At multiple points throughout the day, the HH movers were simply placing things in or removing things from the truck, while we were the ones during the trips up and down. I also was not confident in how they were packing my goods - I had to tell them how to place my table in their truck so it wouldn't get knocked around in transit.After my move was complete, one mover tried to get sympathy by saying jobs were slow all month except for the one weekend when people move, and asked me to call him if I had any more jobs. I will obviously not be calling him again.Would not recommend using Handy Hands.
