They did a very good job on our move. Victor and his crew were undermanned, but still managed to finish in a timely matter.  Thank you Victor!

The actual moving personnel are courteous,  but the office staff, especially owner?/manager "Sam" are HORRIBLE, dishonest and extremely unprofessional.  We contracted with Omega Moving and agreed a small truck would be used to pick up our belongings because we were located on a small street. Golan's Moving arrived with an 18-wheeler and insisted on charging us $300 additional to rent a small truck.  Sam failed to understand that he is bound by the terms of the original contract and cannot show up on the day of the scheduled move and demand additional money. We let them take our belongings because we had no choice. When they dropped off our belongings in Kansas, they refused to unload the truck until we paid the additional $300 we never agreed to pay.  Extortion: ex·tor·tion - noun.  The practice of trying to get something through force, threats or blackmail.

DO NOT USE FOR A LONG DISTANCE OR STATE TO STATE MOVE. THEY TOOK 28 DAYS TO DELIVER MY THINGS. Did they throw them in storage for a few  weeks? As they own a storage facility in Skokie, IL. I had been told by salesperson that they were local but they showed up with a PENSKE TRUCK. I live in San Diego and was moving outside of Minneapolis. I should have used a POD or rented a truck and transported my own things after this experience.......I would not recommend for long distance moving. At 1.07 a pound you better love your stuff. The salesman told me, yes we take visa credit cards. After he had my NON REFUNDABLE $200 deposit that became but we will charge you 2.5%. My less than one bedroom move, I had only 3 small pieces of furniture, 70 boxes/tubs (estimate), scooter and 1 bike  went from $1450 TO $3400. Movers arrived 1/31/17 for my move. I had a couple pieces of furniture, boxes, tubs a bike and my personal things that fit in my studio. My estimate $1450. It happened that I had more than the 30 boxes my estimate. Some small boxes they decided they would repackage into some larger boxes I had left from packing. I was told smaller boxes could be LOST in the move. And they used their packing tape since mine ran out. At $3.50 a role. They packed one glass table top. That was an extra $50 for tape and packing.  The weight from beginning to end somehow changed. Could this be from the items that they somehow LOST?  Or possibly they just lie and cheat their way to the price they want to charge you? I sent salesman Joe emails after a week asking where my shipment was, discrepancy regarding the billing, repacking of boxes and charge. The 1.07  lb. charge for additional weight which I thought I was told was .60 lb. The nightmares and nausea I felt since movers left. He did not respond. After another week coming up on 21 days since pickup I sent him an invoice from another company that was $500 dollars less then his estimate. He ignored me. I called to find out if he had ANY idea where my things were. He said they were probably stolen and I should call the police. He then told me to call the dispatcher at home office. Sam. So far I've had almost 27 restless nights from worry. I offered Golan's $3000 for my things. They are going to hold my items hostage till I pay them the full amount. Where do they think I would come up with an extra $2000 cash? NOT A REPUTABLE COMPANY. Had I read Yelp reviews I would hv NEVER contracted with this company. I have used mover twice in the past and never uncovered any hidden charges.  I will finish this review if I EVER receive my things. Oh, but yes the pickup movers were prompt efficient and wore Golan's TSHIRTS. Did not seem particularly happy about taking my items. Guess they probably knew they would not arrive in the same condition. We will see if they ever arrive.

Adan and his crew (Moses, Luis, Ben) just finished unpacking for us and we couldn't be happier with their speed, customer service, care in handling our belongings and even the tune Adan played to make sure the piano was in working order. HIRE THESE GUYS!

Golan's movers were fast and professional and I would use them again in a heartbeat. The whole move took 4 hours and everything from booking to payment was easy and smooth. I would recommend them to anyone.
