These guys are the best! Very professional and unbelievably quick! And they are the LEAST expensive in the entire Chicagoland. And they charge door to door instead of when they leave their office.They have moved us twice and we won't go anywhere else!

Moving day is always a stressful and unpleasant experience, but Devon Moving company made it a much more tolerable day; from Erica, the sweet office attendant to my movers- Joel, Phil, and Kevin (definitely the best part of the experience). My guys were quick and efficient, and just genuinely a congenial group to be in that situation with. I will surely be recommending them here on out.

Bill, Phil, and Tony did an outstanding job getting me moved from a third floor two bedroom apartment to the second floor one bedroom apartment. These guys are extremely professional. They completed the job with efficency and care. A friend recommended them to me and after my experience I am recommending them as well.

I'd never used movers before, and was thoroughly impressed. I had spine surgery not too long ago and made the decision to move pretty last minute. As you can imagine, I wasn't totally prepared for the movers when they arrived (right on time!). They estimated 2 hours for my move, and it took 2.5 (I was planning on it taking 3 - I had a lot of stuff and was downsizing from a 2 bed to a 1 bed apartment).These guys were machines. My apartment was empty in the blink of an eye and when I mentioned particular pieces had sentimental value (a dresser a great uncle made for my grandma when he worked at a furniture manufacturer and a sewing table that my dad built for me), they took extra good care of the items.They disassembled a shelving unit that was going in the trash so I wouldn't have to do it. The only thing that was a little odd was that the company told me to have cash for the move and the movers were expecting a credit card (either way didn't bother me, but they accepted the cash).The team was friendly, polite and professional. They asked questions and busted their butts on a hot day.

This is the first time we used Devon Moving. We used five other moving companies around the country. These guys were the best. They work hard, don't take breaks, arrive on time and stay late. They even sent a fifth man.They disassemble and reassemble large pieces, including a treadmill. And it works perfectly in the basement, which is where we wanted it. This is the first time a moving company did this for us.If you are in Chicagoland, I suggest you contact Devon Moving Company.
