Finding good moving help is so tough these days. Devon Moving is probably the best moving company I've ever used! No, they didn't pay me to say that and YES I really do mean it. I've moved about a dozen times in the last 10 years and the TWO times I've used Devon have been by far the easiest of all my moves. That's right, I've used them twice and I'm about to use them again for a third move! Both times the crew was fantastic, really courteous and very respectful of my things. They move so quickly, too! I'm going into my third move and I'm actually excited about it because I know that at least I won't have to stress about this part! Their rates are SO reasonable and if you find that they're a little higher than other quotes...I assure you they are definitely worth it. In my experience, Devon Moving took my furniture apart, wrapped things nicely with blankets and tape, loaded the truck, unloaded the truck and then actually put everything back together again (meaning they rebuilt all my furniture!). And one time, when I moved myself and needed help just unloading my truck last minute, I frantically called Devon Moving and they jumped to the rescue and saved me! It just doesn't get any easier than that! All in all I would recommend these guys in a heartbeat. Thank you so much, Devon Moving!

After 5 coworkers recommended them, I gave DM a whirl for my first moving with movers experience. They gave me the absolute best rate I found in the city were lighting quick and the two guys that helped me out were the sweetest, timely, and extremely professional. They got the job done in 2 hours flat including the 30 minute drive with traffic across the city to my new place. SO HAPPY I FOUND THEM! I'll for sure be using them again for my next move and will be recommending them to all my friends. You can believe the hype!

I cannot say in good faith that this is the best company for the price. When Frank did my walk through, he said 4 or 5 hours for my 3 bedroom apartment move. That's a 4 guy team at $115/hour. When they showed up, there were only 2 men for the first hour, then 4 men for a couple hours, then 3 men, then 4 men again. Now, they do charge you accordingly based on the men they have working, but it stretched my "4-5" hour move to almost 9 hours!! By the way, the rate for 2 guys is not half of $115, it's $75. The next thing they get you on is tape and wrap. Now, that may be a common charge in the industry, but he certainly did a nice job downplaying it during walk through. It came out to $238 for all that stuff. At the end of the day, I couldn't believe the price. When I told Henry, the guy in charge that day what Frank had said about the amount of time, he said "no way." Top it off, I spent $1300 and still had to go back to the apartment for stuff that was left behind. Now, the crew was great. Nice guys, professional and courteous. Not the quickest guys I've ever seen. They packed the truck meticulously and that had to add an hour or two to the overall move. Frank is nice too, not the most outgoing person, but I can tell he's a shrewd business man and knows how to get the most out of his customer. I highly recommend you shop around because for the money I spent, it would have been nice to have some expectation of what was coming and not to have to go back for more of my stuff.

I had a great experience using Devon Moving Company in mid July 2017. I had just come out of surgery and had to move quickly. I was unable to pack many of my things and Devon Moving came to the rescue! They packed and wrapped everything for me! I also had a couch that had to be hoisted via my balcony and they did so. The men who helped in moving were Henry, Rodney, and Danny. They were great in helping making sure that nothing was damaged. I have already recommended them to friends and highly recommend their services. They were affordable, quick, and timely.

I have used this company for two different moves. Not one issue with them. Arrived on time for both moves, completed the job super quick, the crew I received both times were both professional and friendly. Price for both moves was more than reasonable. If I ever move again, this company has my business.
