Collins Family Movers

We had Collins Family Movers pack up our whole apartment in Chicago and load everything into our UHaul. We were moving out of a high rise so there was some stress on our part about getting all the furniture on the elevator and into the truck, until Richard showed up. They taped and wrapped everything so well and were able to fit it all into our truck in a very organized manner. The whole process was very satisfying and we would definitely recommend Collins Family Movers to anyone in Chicago.

I have used them twice now for moving.  They do a great job and moved my apartment quickly both times.

So glad I found CFM! I tried to move myself out and COULD NOT get the couch out of my awkwardly narrow hallway. It was a brand new couch (it was a struggle to get it into the condo) and I was about to have it cut in half and thrown away. These guys pulled some magic and got it out in one piece. They were quick, professional, and friendly. Will use them again!

I'm only sorry this wasn't the first moving company I called. I found a new place and had to coordinate a move between two buildings, movers and work all within ten days. It was a lot! I called 9 moving companies only to have them laugh at me and honestly be rude to me about needing help on such short notice. I called Collins Family and immediately, I was treated with high quality customer service. They were very professional, scheduled the move and got me locked away. On the day of the actual move, when they said they would be there at 12noon. They were there- at 12noon. My mind was blown! They had a truck and a team ready to rock. My doorman (who can barely put his cell phone down for a 75 year old with three bags of groceries...) was pretty rude about where the truck could go and offered no solution- cell phone still in hand. The guys politely said, we'll take a look at the ally and what our truck can fit. Short story- he cut the turn in and out of the alley like a knife with butter. The nimble nature of the truck navigating the Gold Coast really deserves a Yelp of its own. Anyways- the move was quick, painless, efficient and friendly. I couldn't have asked for a better experience of quality and accountability.Don't waist your time calling 9 other companies - this group will take care of you! It's nice to have been helped by people who are professional and caring about doing a great job. I was a 10 in the spaz spectrum of handling a move and the Collins Family Movers were a 10 on their service- so it all worked out

These guys were great. I used them recently for a move to a new apartment in Roscoe Village. I'd had issues with some movers in the past scuffing up my stuff. Not so with Collin's family movers. When they opened up the back of their truck, I was wondering why they'd brought so many blankets. It was because they wrapped pretty much everything they touched, which I really appreciated. They were quick and efficient. We were done in almost half the time I was expecting. Furthermore, once we got into the new place, I had them re-arrange a few things several times which they gladly did. They guys were great and they do not only moving, but assembly, loading/unloading, etc. I definitely plan to use them again the next time I move. Job well done.
