This company scams their customers!!!I was charged for extra insurance I never signed up for.Charged for custom boxes, I never agreed too.Charged 800lbs over! Couch ripped during move but since they put it in the storage untit they are not responsible. OPEN ALL YOUR BOXES BEFORE THEY ENTER THE HOUSE. If you dont Benkins says they are not relaible for damaged items because you could have damaged them. But they do not give you an opportunity to check them or tell you that you have to do that to collect the insurance SCAM SCAM SCAM. I demanded a reweighing of my shiptment when I got an invoice for $4000.  Weight cane back 800lbs less. SCAM SCAM SCAM. 800lbs is not a small error.  It has been 3 months and I still have not recieved a refund nor have been told how the weoght is calucated to come up with Keep getting the run around and never answering all my questions. I guess the company knows you only move cross country once so why bother with god customer service. Now no response to my phone calls.

Boyer Rosene Moving & Storage are incredible company.  Customer service was very nice and timely in settling the logistics of the move, which was not easy.  They had to go to Art Van Furniture and pick up a ton of furniture and then come to my home to pick up the rest of the stuff and then off to a difficult place in the country 2 hours away with a very challenging drive way and had no issues what so ever.  They were early on all occasions and completed the move timely and with no damage.  The big strong movers were great and so warm to my family.  I willl only use Boyer Rosene Moving & Storage!!

I just moved from Chicago to LA and had a good experience with Boyer-Rosene. Russ came out to assess the cost, and the price he quoted us was competitive with others from similar agents of large interstate van lines. The people at both the origin and destination were great. The guys who loaded the truck were careful, respectful, and very attentive to the inventory and wrapping furniture carefully. The destination people (with Wheaton Van Lines) were equally amazing. They helped us make decisions about which furniture should go in which room (based on potential big purchases later like a sofa bed that might be difficult to get into certain spaces), and also were attentive to the inventory list. Anything the driver had needed to break down en route, they rebuilt. They also laid down our carpets and set up the bed (twice, cuz we changed our minds on the room).The only reason BR gets a star knocked off is because of the similarity to Amy M's review: the huge delivery time frame was frustrating, and inconsistent with what Russ had suggested (that it might be there on the early end). It was in fact delivered the last day possible, a full 20 days after loading the truck in Chicago. I understand that it was b/c we were first on the truck and that they had other pick-ups on the way, but just be forewarned that this is likely.It's a worthwhile tradeoff for a company with good customer service, and agents on both ends that are respectful and knowledgable about treating people's personal items with care.

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish with our recent move from IL to WI. Russ M. was a great relocation consultant and really seemed to listen to our needs and suggest some helpful things we hadn't thought of related to our move. We had a great team of movers and driver for our origin and destination. Origin crew: Joe (Driver), Andy, CJ, Shaq and destination crew: Jim (Driver), Blaze, CJ and Andy were all extremely friendly, professional, showed care with our belongings, and efficient. We couldn't have asked for a better moving experience. If we need a full service mover in the future, we will absolutely be calling Bekins. Thank you!

I have been a loyal Bekins/Boyer Rosene customer for over 20 years and have always had an exceptional experience. From the first sales call to the last box delivered, everyone up or down the chain of command really cares about making your move as seemless as possible. Jim Mazuka, my moving specialist is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and gave me excellent tips about how to save time and money. And Anna Ganas in the front office is always available by phone when I've had a question or concern. I also use their storage facility and am very pleased with how well they care for my possessions in storage. The facility is neat and organized and temperature controlled. I highly recommend Boyer-Rosene for anyone needing a moving and storage company in the Chicagoland area.
