I am so unbelievably upset with this company! I am filing a complaint with the IL Attorney General and advise that everyone do the same!! illinoisattorneygeneral.…I have talked to an attorney and have been told that this shitty company has done a good job of stealing peoples money, knowing that they are unable to get it back. It would cost more in legal fees and traveling costs than what we would win back. I WILL NOT STOP FIGHTING UNTIL THIS COMPANY IS CLOSED!!! I will email, write letter and call every Better Business Bueros Office, and attorneys office in Cook Co. if I have to. This company is full of scam artists and should be ashamed of themselves!

I used American National Van Lines on my move from Chicago to Portland who hired Best Price moving and storage for the second leg of the move. If you want to hear the gory details... read on. If not, all you need to know is not to hire this company. The company I hired sent our things with best price moving and storage-- who lied to us several times about when our things would ship from chicago... that is, when we could actually get ahold of someone. We've literally tried to call this company 20 something times, and they would just put us through to a woman's voicemail who would never call us back. When we'd ask for the owner or manager, they were unavailable/out of the country/in a meeting and we'd never get a call back.Finally, the unprofessional company gave us the number to the driver of the truck, who gave us 4 time slots of delivery and never showed up. To top it off, the driver changed his number midway through trying to get ahold of him, making it impossible to get ahold of anyone regarding our things.Last time I checked, it's the company's job to get ahold of the driver and schedule a delivery date, not the customers. After playing phone tag with the driver for about a week, he finally shows up. Alone. Because he gave us no advance notice, we couldn't block the street, so he had nowhere to park and left. I called both companies telling them it was unacceptable that he showed up alone... and while they assured me they would fix the problem -- they didn't. We have two couches, a queen mattress, about 30 boxes, and about 4 flights of stairs. But no surprise, the next day he shows up without notice... alone again. So who ended up moving us in? Him and my boyfriend. UNACCEPTABLE. The woman at best price movers said she would "send him a check" for having to move, but no surprise here, she isn't responding to our calls. They also tore the fabric in our couch, and ruined our wooden bed platform and several boxes with a water leak. If you're looking to move, literally chose any other company.

I've moved over 20 times in my life and my recent experience with best price was without question the least pleasant. Moving is already a stressful enough experience without the added delays, terrible service and hidden fees that come with the best price experience. They were over 7 days late from the estimated date for delivery, the driver never showed on the final agreed upon date and was over 36 hours late and was astoundingly hostile and rude. DO NOT USE THEM, any savings you think you'll enjoy will be eaten up by hidden fees and delays

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY .EVER. worst moving experience of my life( and I have moved a lot), binding initial estimate is not binding at all...driver will not pick up your stuff if you dont sign a new contract, much higher than the fist, and no one to call at 7 am to get this solved on day of move.New price was $800 more, a LOT for my budget.Item arrived damaged, all kitchen fragiles broken, every piece of furniture has been damaged, four boxes still missing.... we have LOST HUNDREDS OF $$$$...the company will not do anything to fix this monstruosity, the better business bureau contacted the company unsuccessfully....These guys are a joke, they will basically steal your money and rip you off.HORRIFYING EXPERIENCE.

So as most people have mentioned the quotes were totally off for our move. We had sold many items so less that originally quoted, and some goon  raised the price. We were told that the driver would have a weight ticket. Of course they didn't so we followed them the 20 or so miles to get one. And had to drive to scale again for new weight ticket.Our move was from Illinois to Arizona. Our items have been delivered by three idiots who had half a brain and set of teeth between all three. One asked to use our bathroom and pissed all over the seat. So k was doing inventory while they brought items in. You could hear broken items and I would open box and sure enough things broken. Along with damaged to my bedroom set. I stated that I'm missing over 15 boxes. They said they had no more on the truck and for me to call the moving company.As most of the previous reviews I have called and called and emailed and called. Still not but one reply. I'm going to check with BBB tomorrow and find out what can be done.DO NOT USE this company. You'll only be sorry. I have broken china, furniture, glasses etc. the amount of missing boxes and items are causing me unrest. This seems to be the norm with this company. Do your homework, read reviews do research and DO NOT USE this company. I bet if I had any chance of getting my lost items I just blew it!! Moving is hard enough but this company has really made it so much worse.
