Alltown Movers

Alltown was recommended to me by another company I had employed on a previous move who happened to be booked solid on our move date.  I called the number I was given and the owner, Ron Alvarez answered.  He told me he, too was booked on the morning of our move, yet he had an opening in the afternoon.  He explained his processes and his pricing structure which all seemed efficient and fair.  I told him he had the job and that I would text him my contact information.  Three days later, I received a text from Ron that he hadn't received my information.  To my horror, I realized this text had gone unnoticed for several hours.  Adding insult to injury, I was unable to reach Ron for several hours.  I thought the worst--that because I was delayed in providing my contact information, he may have assumed I was no longer interested.  Then that evening, Ron called apologizing for the delay in responding as he had been at a neighborhood charity event and that everything was booked as scheduled.On the day of the move Johnny, my move supervisor called to let me know he had been delayed at the morning job and that he would be late by 20 minutes to half an hour.  I said it was okay.  Then, at the original appointment time I received another call informing me the delay would actually be about an hour due to traffic.I am still giving Alltown five stars in spite of the delays and I am doing so because of the was issues were communicated to me.  Johnny and his crew were relentless in completing the job on schedule and within budget.I highly recommend Alltown Movers. :-)

This moving company is amazing! The two brothers went above and beyond to help us move our couch through an incredibly tight space. They were very polite too. I highly recommend them if you want great service!

These guys were great!  If it wasn't the excellent customer service, professional demeanor, or willingness to serve, it was their effortless speed and dedication to safety.  Their ability to accommodate my wife and I, even during late hours, was superb.  I highly recommend this company, and I plan to use their services in the future.

Moving within the city of Chicago can be hectic but these guys made it happen.  I had originally booked a different company but wasn't sold on how the receptionist handled my moving info. When I called Alltown Movers, I spoke with Ron and he knew exactly what he was talking about. I was determined to move out of my old place and into my new place within a (4) hour window and Ron and his team made it happen.I'm a planner and when I found out we were moving I booked my reservation with Ron (about a month before the actual move date). I talked to him for about 5 minutes about the type of furniture we had, number of boxes, etc. I was adamant about having 3 movers each with their own dolly (due to the time). Ron guaranteed me him and his team could move us out and into out new place (31 stories up) with no problem. He even called me the day before to confirm the move time.Ron had his team were on top of everything. We were moved out in 2 hrs (50 boxes, Queen bedroom set, ect.) and moved into our new place in less than an hour. They even had time to help us load our bikes in the bike room and store a few boxes in our storage unit. Long story short - Alltown Movers were hard working gentlemen who know their stuff. Nothing was broken, everything was tightly packed, and we were moved in with 15 minutes to spare.  By far the best movers in Chicago!!Ask for Ron!!

Ron is a true sweetheart and really accommodated my tough move.  He worked around my schedule and was concerned about the weather so he suggested we move 2 days earlier because he was fearful that the weather would not cooperate and I'm glad I listened because it ended being 20 below. He is professional. He showed up on time and moved my stuff within 2 hours. I'm a serial mover and I am so happy I found him. He better not go out of business or I'm coming for him... Lol! I have been telling people about him and post his information on the board in my new building. Thanks Ron!!
