Pickup was a day late (we were not notified) and no moving paperwork was left; no record of carrier DOT# was provided. Numerous attempts to contact mover and locate furniture went unanswered. We, NOT Flex, located the furniture and arranged delivery. Delivered 8/18, a week later than contracted. All but one item were damaged on receipt. Clearly the items were mishandled and abused in transit and storage. None was received in same condition or packaging as it when it left. The 12x15 rug was folded in half causing unrepairable stretching damage. Cost to repair and replace furniture and lamps exceeds $1,500. Cost to replace damaged rug is over $10,000.
Flex has been unresponsive to all attempts to contact them both during and after the moving process. Our certified letter to the principal was returned unopened. We attempted to file a claim with the claims company on the contract and was informed by that company that they do not, nor have they ever had, an affiliation with Flex Movers, so we can't even file a claim.
