Established in 1919. At Suddath, we take moving personally--understanding that all cargo is precious and every step matters. A family company, born in 1919 and bred in Jacksonville, Florida, we've grown from one spirited entrepreneur with a cart and two mules to a global company that moves more than 50,000 families and 20,000 government and military members around the world each year. You get what you pay for does not apply here. We spent over $21,000 moving our 2 bedroom house from LA to Portland just over 900 miles. I thought if we went with the most expensive quote we would get the highest level of service. I was so wrong. What is a 2 day drive took them 14 days. They missed the delivery window by 10 days. With 2 small children and 4 dogs we had to sleep on blow up mattresses and eat take out for 2 weeks. Their response sorry nothing we can do but we will give you $100 a day for everyday your shipment was delayed. When we finally got the delivery there were multiple damages to furniture and items. We still have not received all our things in the shipment and it has been over 30days. This is a large highly disorganized company that does not care about client service or client needs. I would not recommend under any circumstances.

I hired Suddath to move my family into our new home this past weekend. I could not have had a better moving experience. I have moved several times in the past few years and it has always been a stressful situation for myself and my family. (We previously have chosen to move ourselves) The driver and his helpers were on time, dressed in uniform and ready to work bright and early. They made sure to protect my home and items moving out of our previous residence and made sure that my new home was protected moving very heavy furniture in. They covered my hardwood floor, tile, bannisters, carpet ect... to ensure everything stayed in great condition. They helped move my living room around until I was completely satisfied with the set up. (Poor guys...haha)I am no longer a believer in moving myself. I will now be using Suddath for all of my moving needs. Great crews and great service. Thank you Suddath for making a very stressful life moment into a stress free enjoyable new chapter!

I contacted Suddath for a move of my entire office that was forced on us last minute, Saturday move out of a building with very specific requirements and into a building with stairs (no elevator). Rick and Kelly made sure that they fit us into the schedule. The five guy crew that arrived was on time, professional, efficient, careful and very polite. I was very stressed and they eased my mind. They made the move really seemless. I really could not ask for anything more. I highly recommend them. The follow-up was great as well: the other Kelly called during the move to make sure everything went smoothly. Kelly followed up the following Monday to also follow-up. They really have a personal touch to their customers. Thank you!

We moved 28,000 lbs from So. Cal to Las Vegas. We found Suddath to be very professional, and I would definitely recommend them to friends and family. Robert is young, energetic is careful with packing and moving and has a great memory for "where did I put that box?". Oscar can really move the big stuff (like a loaded tall boy up 19 steps)! Jesse has tons of experience and can tell us the best way to do things. Everyone else that helped pack and load really did a good job. They were able to accommodate last minute changes. Nothing broken upon arrival! Thanks Guys!

Move went as planned, no surprises and the crew was professional and on time. Moving into a high rise presents unique challenges and they were all made insignificant by this team. I will use them again.
