I used Lexington Movers to take me from LA to NYC in January.  What a GREAT JOB they did for me and family.  The guys showed up on time ready to work. The packed all of our belongings in a matter of a few hours. Extremely fast and extremely careful. This move was very stressful and time sensitive being I was starting a new job in less then 2 weeks. The customer service was excellent, the delivery was on time and not a single thing was lost or broker. I could not have asked for a more seamless move. Thanks to the entire staff at Lexington for doing such a fine job.I would highly recommend the company to anyone that has the daunting task of moving across country.

They're such a scam.  Spoke to Richard on the phone - only chose them simply because they were not a broker and the 10 day delivery guarantee.  Oh, ho, ho - let me tell you how false all of this was.  After you speak to Richard, Lisa gets in touch with you.  Even during the quoting process, Lisa had a few moments of rude sarcastic attitude which I looked past because I was in a bind to get my stuff across the country quickly. They're obviously nice when they are trying to get your business - very adamant about getting my deposit of which she said was $100 but later charged me $140.  That's fine, I can look past that...I didn't have that much stuff and I was quoted $1,400 with the possibility of a $300 shuttle fee which they didn't out right tell me about, I had to ask them about additional charges and press for details.  Pickup - the guys were nice and did a good job of packing my stuff; however, they charged me for a lot of stuff that in the initial contract that Lisa Longo sent over would be free.  Red flags are just swinging left and right but they've packed my stuff, what am I going to do at this point. WIth those red flags waving, I ask the pick up movers if they're directly employed by Lexington or if they're a different moving company that Lexington hires, and they went ahead and confirmed that they are a different moving company that is contracted by Lexington. OH, SO LEXINGTON MOVING SERVICES ARE BROKERS! I arrive in New York on the 10th day - no stuff. No call, no email, no response to email, no response to call, no response to voicemail.  For over two weeks.  Lisa finally emails back saying contact Don and gives me a phone number.  Call Don - phone is completely off for 5 days.  Get a hold of him and when i explain my frustration that my stuff isn't there, he says it's ridiculous and no one told me that it'd be there in 10 days and that was impossible. . . . . . Well, they have my stuff so there is literally nothing I can do about it.  I ask him when the truck is leaving, he says that weekend and the driver should call to schedule drop off time.  Driver does not call in the next 7 days so I call Don back (Don seems like an older gentleman that should be retired because when i try to explain things to him, he doesn't seem to understand what I'm saying and repeats things he's been saying over and over and never answers your questions).  Don then proceeds to tell me the truck just left yesterday and gives me a phone number to the driver. HOLD ON, if you're not a broker, why am I doing all the work here? I call Don multiple times before the scheduled delivery again to tell him how upset I am and that they have broken the contract agreement set forth by them and that I was not going to pay the full amount.  Guess what? Don doesn't pick up or call me back.Drop Off: Movers come and tell me to pay and I tell them I'm not going to because I called Don multiple days ahead of drop off to work out the total and how I refuse to pay the full amount.  Oh, also they charged me the $300 shuttle fee of course, but the name of the contracted moving company was on the truck that came to drop it off.  JUST BTW. Those movers and I try to contact Don for over an hour - of course no pick up. So because I refuse to lose all my money after I have already bought more than half the stuff that is on the truck, they leave with my stuff.  THEY LEFT WITH MY STUFF. I WAS SO CLOSE. Don finally calls back and remember how i mentioned Don is a bit incompetent, he thought that I was talking about the shuttle fee, oh no honey. not that. SO anyway, they reschedule another dropoff which I am again charged another $300 fee. I am so over this company I just paid.  Another guy called me and said to file a claim and when I asked who to file it with he said it was Don.  Forget it, I'm cutting my losses here to never have to deal with them again but I hope no one ever uses them.  Also, red flag: They only take money order or cash on pick up and cash or postal money order on drop off.  I should've known. I thought I was just helping out a small mom and pop business. NEVER AGAIN.

This company is fraudulent. I just filed on Ripoff Report. We spoke to them on the phone and everything seemed legitimate - we had an official quote, we put down a deposit and thought we were getting a good deal with a good company. Day of the move, they were unreachable by phone or email (still have never heard back 2 weeks later). We got a call from a company 1.5 hours into our 2 hour moving window after numerous VM's left and emails sent stating our pick up would now occur at 5-8pm that evening. My girlfriend got a call from someone else stating it would be 4-6pm. It went downhill from there. They wouldn't commit, they kept saying someone would call back and didn't, and in the end we decided it was too sketchy and picked up a uhaul. We moved our stuff ourselves across the country. In my last phone conversation, I asked the woman who actually owned the truck that would be picking up our stuff and she simply hung up on me. Avoid this company at all costs!! You will either have your belongings stolen, or be put into a very tight spot where they'll drastically increase the quote.

I would give zero stars! They stole all of our stuff, unresponsive, took "half" of the deposit which was 1600$. I am so heartbroken. Here is the full story: They quoted us for 1700 after we told him the stuff we are moving, Richard was responsive and nice, and we decided to go with them. They said they would arrive saturday, 6/3/17, they kept pushing back the time till eventually they said they can come sunday, 6/4/17. They came Sunday and loaded a lot of our stuff and then told us that they will be charging 3175$! We were exhausted, confused, and the guy Garet (the mover on site) explained to us that they charge per cubic foot! We were never told this. They also said during our move that we cant have clothes in garbage bags, so they charge us 100$ for additional boxes. We felt like we had no other choice because we had to move that day so we bit the bullet and payed half, $1600. They told us that they would deliver either tomorrow, 6/5/15 or the next day 6/6/17 and on delivery date on the form they wrote "ASAP". We have called Richard everyday after that and have gotten zero call backs. We got one call back from "customer service" (fake for sure) and they said that the truck would be leaving to us probably next day....that was 7 days ago. Now they have gone silent on us. Its been 10 days since the move. I will never forget this one line Garet said to me when we were getting rid of some of our furniture to take down the cost of the truck, he said, "You guys are a great couple, you guys aren't attached to your things like most people are, you guys are totally going to make it, you will be just fine in life". At the time I was thinking it was a compliment on my marriage, but now I realize he was trying to make himself feel better for stealing from us, justifying that we would be fine.We are in the process of filling a report and hunting them down. We are not going quietly, we will find them and press MAJOR charges.
