I just wanted to thank to jv and his crew for doing a great job with my mothers belongings, we really couldn't ask for any better, they were very friendly professional and respectful I'll definitely use them again in the future when I need to move.

I'd like to start off by stating that I have never left a review in my life before and this company was so terrible that it's making me actually write a review.I went on Uship to find a moving company to move my apartment belongings from Los Angeles California to Wolcott Connecticut where I was moving to. I requested to have my stuff delivered by July 23rd the latest. Great road vanlines contacted me saying they can pick up my belonging Between July 15/16th and have it delivered July 23rd the latest. On July 16th they arrived early that morning to pick up my stuff. The driver specifically told me he was leaving from there to go to Seattle Washington for another delivery and then heading east with stops along the way until he makes it to Connecticut and that it will take between 10-15days. Knowing that 10-15 days would possibly arrive after the date we requested I told the guy I understand if it's a few days later than July 23rd and will not be a big deal.I received my stuff August 26th, and the only reason why I received my stuff that early was because I kept calling and complaining with the company on where my stuff was. After a few WEEKS I contacted Tim with Great road vanlines and asked where our stuff was. Tim told me he was sorry no one contacted me and that the truck broke down apparently and was in the shop, it should be out by the weekend and delivered within the week. This was the second week of August when I spoke with him. It made no sense and I said why was my stuff not delivered yet, even if it broke down a week ago, it was suppose to be delivered way before according to our deal and what we paid for. Tim could not give me any answers, I asked to know what state the truck broke down in, Tim could not answer that. I asked what day the truck broke down? Tim could not answer. I asked for the drivers contact number, any details or information on ANYTHING about my belongings. Tim could not answer. He told me I would have to speak to customer services and gave me a number but said my belongings should be there within the week. A whole week goes by, I finally contact the general manager since I still did not receive my stuff. Christine is the General Manager and a terrible one at that. I asked her where my stuff was and she replied saying it was still in California with an attitude as if I should've known this and said it's not suppose to be picked up til possibly tomorrow. At this point I figured she must be looking at the wrong shipment and said my stuff was picked up July 16th and suppose to be delivered July 23rd. It was now August 18th when I was speaking with her. She says that my stuff is still in a storage that they placed my belongings in California. Now i'm upset and asked why is my stuff still in California and that I was told the truck broke down on it's way to Connecticut. She had no idea what I was talking about and contacts Tim who told me the shipment was on it's way a long time ago, she then gets back on the phone with me and tells me it was a mistake and that they must have had a misunderstanding but my stuff never left California. I tell her how messed up this is and we paid a lot of money to have this delivered within a timely manner and they are VERY late. I said we should be compensated somehow for this. She then says they have a 21 day policy to deliver our stuff, I tell her it is WAY past 21 days. She then says 21 days from the date it was suppose to be delivered, I then tell her that would be August 12th and it's still late. Then she changes it again and says 21 business days from the date it was to be delivered. Which then I tell her even if that's true they are STILL going to be late. I ask her to please email me with policy about 21 days to deliver because I would like to see it. She tells me she will email me the policy and call me back the following day to inform me on when my stuff will be transported and about possible compensation for our troubles. Today is September 6th and I have yet to receive a phone call back from Christine. My stuff finally arrived August 26th. That's over 40 days from the date they picked up my stuff. They have not cared to reach out to me again or compensate me for being extremely late nor did the general manager ever email me this policy she claimed. This company is extremely unprofessional and I do not recommend ever using them. They don't care about the customer or care to go out of their way to fix anything that they clearly did wrong. I would never recommend this company ever. You are better off moving your stuff yourself and making a road trip out of it and can get your stuff delivered yourself within weeks from the dates they tell you.
