Established in 1992. Initially established on January 1, 1992, Affordable Quality Moving and Storage has been family owned and operated since its opening day. Under new ownership as of 10 years ago, President and CEO, Casey Kirkman, and Vice President and wife of Casey, Kelly Kirkman, have taken AQMS to a whole new level. Shortly after the establishment of new ownership, AQMS proudly became an agency for National Van Lines for interstate relocations, performing moving services for families, businesses and individuals relocating out of state. In addition to providing out of state moving services, AQMS has earned a stellar reputation within the Greater Los Angeles and local Santa Clarita Community as an honest and dependable moving company.

Jack came out and did a thorough walkthrough & estimate with us. Up through and on our actual move day, he was available for any question we had. Jian, Juan, and Mike performed the move with great speed, capability, and attention to detail. This included navigating a somewhat unforgiving stairwell! We are more than satisfied!

These guys moved everything out of my house today. They put everything into 9 huge storage boxes. These guys disassembled beds and furniture with ease. Packed flat screen TVs. They definitely knew what they were doing. I won't see my stuff for another month or two. But I'll update from the other end. Very smooth experience. Great job guys! Thanks for sending the A team.

Excellent service! I'd requested a quote from another mover and had a bad experience, so came to AQMS on a recommendation from a colleague. I was not disappointed. The quote was reasonable, communications were excellent (special shout-out to Amber for always being responsive and helpful), and we could not be more thrilled with the moving services provided by National Van Lines. The packers were efficient, and everyone was personable. Mike, our driver, was simply THE BEST. He was a great foreperson during the loading and unloading phases, communicated a reasonable ETA and communicated updates, and delivered our belongings efficiently and safe and sound. Actually the loading went so quickly (they were done in a few hours), we were able to hit the road a day early! I kid you not when I say the only casualty of the move was a single broken plastic spoon.

As your request, we are writing you this letter in reference to our experience with AQMS.To Begin with, it seemed like the perfect company. We were glad you introduced us to them; as every one of our concerns about the move and the assurance we would need, were met. The difference came when the movers showed up. The man in charge said he was going to bring the semi truck but didn't think it would fit on the street. I told him many people moving in our neighborhood have used one. This I believe added to the extra waste of our time. There were four workers, so the move was going very slow. After a few hours two more helpers showed up and we started feeling better until two of them left for hours. They arrived at around 7:30 a.m. and they were not finished till about 7:30 p.m. We still had our, three hour, drive ahead of us. I inquired about the next day delivery and was assured we would have five workers in addition to him. However, two showed up, (one of which was the teenage daughter of the worker who proceeded to whine and complain as she "worked"). In addition to another time fiasco, there were damages to our property and our new home.When we spoke to Taz concerning our experience, he referred us to Brandon. Brandon told us that we would have to pay our bill in full before there would be repairs and compensation. This made me feel that I would be naive to give up any leverage I had to expedite our repairs/compensation. As soon as the bill was paid, it took quite a lot of calls and messages for the matter to be completed. Taz told us the company covered damages to property, but never explained it would be only .60 on the dollar, or we could pay for additional coverage to meet the difference; which we would have gladly done so.In light of all these negative experiences, not only will I go out of my way to not recommend this company; I believe it would be in your best interest and reputation, for you, not to recommend them to your clients

From the moment the sales representative came to our home, we knew this was the company for us. All along the way, every person we came in contact with was amazing. They went out of their way to make our move easier and successful. We moved from a 4600 sf home and it was a big move with two trucks. Their pricing was more than fair. I received bids higher and lower, but I went with AQMS because they had large trucks and large crews which I knew would make the move go faster. The movers never stopped. They professionally wrapped up our kitchen and garage. They were always on time. They asked me constantly, "How is it going, do you need anything?" I said are you kidding? How are you guys doing? We supplied drinks and lunch all of the days they worked on our job and tipped every guy who packed and moved us. They worked harder than any movers I had ever seen and I have moved a lot in my life. Kudos to a great company, with great character, caring attitudes and a knowledge of how to make the customer feel supported during a stressful time.
