I've used them twice to ship my car across the country. I did countless hours of research, and Montway offered the best customer service and pricing. How they work: They're a third party agency that contracts with local companies that do the transport. Thus, both times I used them I had different companies pick up my vehicel. The lowest pricing is offered at a 5-day pick up window, however you can pay more for guaranteed pick-up on your scheduled date. I was able to fill my trunk with items, which made moving significantly easier and cheaper.

One month ago, I shipped a car to my cousin in Indiana using Montway and everything worked out very well.  I would use Montway again and I would recommend them.They have an easy-to-use website - no trouble booking the transport.  The company communicated often during the process via email and phone call.  I never had to wonder what was going on and when they would pick up the car.  The man who picked up the car was very professional.  Best of all, it was delivered ahead of schedule.I do not know if the price was reasonable or not because I have no experience in this market.  It was a price acceptable to me and didn't seem excessive for how easy and convenient everything was.

Terrible service. Bait and switch. After 3 weeks no pick up date.  After at least 6 calls, they wanted more money than originally quoted, and still could not tel us when the car could be picked up for transport. Our mother at 89 years old is now in Michigan without a car. Montway has had 3 weeks to get this done.  I would advise doing business with this outfit at your own risk.Paula Boatman
