Had a super last minute shipment (for a VERY important client in Phoenix) delayed in transit.Warehouse told me (here in Dallas) that the delivery promised for Friday, won't make it until Monday. This would have cost us $$$$$$$ to delay since we set aside the whole weekend to install. Anyways, worked some things out with the warehouse Thursday evening and needed someone to pick up and deliver 32 gallons of carpet adhesive in the morning when the truck arrives, although I don't know when. Called up this place, and was directed to Kamyar.Gave me a quote, told me he scheduled me in for the morning pending arrival. Called him in the morning when the truck arrived around 830am Phoenix time and he immediately sent me back an ETA of 11:45. Told him I needed it there by 10, and he said he could try, but 11:00 is the best he could do with scheduled deliveries.Called me at 9:30 saying the driver is at the warehouse loading up the van. Called again at 10:05 saying it was delivered.Needless to say, I highly recommend this business. Bravo, Kamyar.

I had been ill and needed some equipment delivered down south as I couldn't drive. I spoke with John and my precious item was picked up that afternoon and delivered just a few hours later. I was told it wouldn't be delivered until the next day so I was super pleased and impressed that they took it straight to it's destination. The staff was helpful and kind as well. John was great and honored the price I was given by phone the day before and David was friendly and sensitive to the delicate nature of the package. I will use them again and recommend to anyone who could use the service. A+ guys, you were perfect!

I called Mercury to inquire about delivery of 2 large boxed recliners I was purchasing at Costco. I was pleased they could do same day service, and could be there w/in the hour. I gave them the measurements and weight of the boxes, and they quoted me $140 for the job. The quote seemed high, but given they could come w/in 60 mins, I went for it. They arrived w/in the hour - good so far. I was surprised that only one guy arrived in a pick up truck! Ray was courteous, but clearly couldn't handle getting the 2 large boxes into the back of the pick up truck, by himself. I had to help lift the large boxes into the back of the truck - and originally, the boxes didn't fit w/the tailgate up! When I asked if he had any straps to secure the load (which was hanging over the folded down tailgate) he had only one - which didn't fit. His comment was "guess I took them out this weekend when I had my grandson". Hmmm. He didn't have another option, so I pulled out my measuring tape and measured the boxes. One side was clearly smaller, so I suggested that we shift the boxes so that they'd fit in the back of the truck. We did so, and he was able to close the tailgate. After he drove the boxes to my house, once again, I had to help unload the boxes in my driveway, unpack the chairs, then carry them into the house. I suppose it's a good thing I'm an able-bodied person, and was able to help move the boxes/chairs - there was no way Ray could not have done this job solo. I received a receipt when we got to the house, but it had no delivery cost. Later when I checked my bank card online, was surprised to see they charged me $5 more than the quoted price. I won't be calling Mercury again. While I was impressed that they were able to show up so quickly, I'd have been better off renting a Home Depot truck (for a fraction of the price) and loading the boxes at Costco (w/help of their employees) then asking a friend/neighbor to help unload them in my driveway. I was also disappointed to discover the quoted rate was not on my receipt and wasn't the price I was quoted.

I use couriers occasionally and in Phx, it certainly seems like they are hit and miss, and a bit fly by night. They change ownership often, they seem obnoxious and don't take your important things seriously. But Mercury is really awesome. They are totally reasonably priced, with no odd "add on" fees. They always answer the phone, they call upon pickup and delivery, and can handle sensitive items. They're the only ones I'll call.
