I moved from Phoenix to Seattle May of 2016. After reading reviews and obtaining competitive quotes, I decided upon Lifetime Moving. Setting up my move was a easy with good follow-up. Other than a few larger items (platform bed, dresser, side table, keyboard, small PA system), I packed, sealed, and numbered the 20+ boxes myself. The day of the move, I was contacted by the moving crew of their scheduled arrival. They were on-time, quick, and efficient. One of the movers had a few crass jokes I could've done without. Before signing final paperwork, I did a quick sweep on the condition of my home and discovered a nasty dent on one of my bedroom doors, door frame, and wall. Both the mover and I documented the damage and I was assured that a claim would be filed. I arrived in Seattle and within a few days the moving crew contacted me to schedule the arrival of my belongings. Again, on-time, quick, and efficient. They were even flexible in removing their shoes inside of my new home. All items arrived in the same condition they were packed so I was extremely satisfied. Now, the claims process. The claim was filed and I was contacted via email with the instructions on how to proceed with the claim. I submitted the required paperwork along with photos and details of the damage by regular mail, as instructed. About a month later, I received an email with instructions to send a second letter by regular mail stating that I would like to continue with the claim, which I submitted. The dollar amount offered to repair my wall, door frame, and door was $75. The instructions, if I accepted the $75, required me to sign and notarize the claim document and submit by regular mail. I found the dollar amount to be unacceptable so I wrote and mailed a letter rejecting the dollar amount and submitted the price for the door and installation. Last week, I received an email with the final offer of $105 for the damages done to my Phoenix home, hence my review. After reviewing my Order for Service and Bill of Lading the only documentation that I found was only related to household goods NOT property damage. The move itself was good however, the claims process has been long and inconvenient only to end with a result I find lacking in excellence.

Amanda gave me an offer; however it was not my lowest offer, so they price matched with an additional discount of 5%. They also provide 60 days worth of storage for free.I requested that they send someone to my house so that they found give me a more guaranteed quote. The gentleman who came to my home was nice and explained the picking prices to me. Currently, I am waiting on my moving quote and move. Amanda set up an online payment portal for me so that I could pay the deposit of $50. I have also been paying the 60% of the payment that is due by pickup one week at a time. The remaining balance is due when my items are dropped off.I'll write another review when my items are picked up and dropped off. I'm moving from Mesa to Dallas.

I felt The pricing and scheduling were ambiguously represented.  Specifically, my belongings were not loaded onto a truck and shipped directly to the delivery destination. My belongings were loaded on a truck, unloaded and stored, and later reloaded and delivered.  I recently used them for a move from AZ to MI.  I wasn't aware of the delayed delivery part until they were standing in my living room on moving day.  I asked for an estimated departure date as they were loading, "5-8 days, it's summer.  We're busy."  The contract states they have up to 21 BUSINESS days to arrange delivery.  It took 27, TWENTY-SEVEN!! Days for my shipment to arrive.  (Non business days were added to this total).   If you are ok with no furniture, dishes, and living out of a suitcase for a month, then this is the company for you!  There are fees added on for mattress boxing, electronics, and if their truck won't fit at the drop off point, it's extra to bring a smaller truck.  I was informed of this when the delivery driver arrived in MI.   I also was asked for an inventory 4 days before moving date, so I had to estimate how many Boxes I would have after the last minute packing.  I wasn't sure if I would be bringing the couch I had.  If I added it to the list there would be no substituting boxes in place of the couch.  This made no sense since you're being charged for space and not items.  The move costed me about 250$ over the estimate, even with a detailed inventory.  If I could give the moving personnel a rating outside of this company I'd give them the 5 stars.  Both pick up and delivery was efficient, professional and courteous.EDIT*  I received an email today threatening legal action if I did not take this review down. I stand by my opinion of this company. I was not satisfied with the service I received and have changed this from a 2 star to a one star rating.   I've also removed the wording "similar to a brokerage" relative to storing a load for up to 21 days before transport of a load since they indicated they are not brokers or similar to brokers.   The fact that I'm being threatened with civil action re: this review would also serve as an example of this company's business philosophy.

This is the second time I've used there services as the first experience was spot on. Customer service was on point and the price is right. Not a service you use everyday but when you do need it I know I can rely on this company to take care of Buisness effectively.

I have had the most horrible & atrocious experience while using Lifetime Moving & Storage as I moved across the country from AZ to MD. Not a single person with this company was helpful or wanted to help me in any manner once all of my goods had been picked up. To begin, I was assured by Marina that I would receive my stuff in a timely manner in MD. We planned the pick-up time 14 days before the date that I needed my goods delivered; early enough so that I would receive my items around the time I flew over to Maryland. The agent who came to pick up my items was also very cordial & nice & told me that I would know within 1-2 days who my driver & when my delivery date would be.So I called every day for basically 21 days trying to see if anything had happened with my shipment. Every time I called, no one felt the need to help me or underststand the current situation I was in. I had a very limited time to move & I was assured, from the beginning, that I would receive my goods around the time of my first available delivery date, especially because I had all of my goods picked up well over 14 days in advance of my first available delivery date.  For someone who is moving all the way across the country I would expect a certain level of understanding & empathy to be exhibited by the company when I called to receive updates. After weeks of calling, I asked about expediting the shipping because I was so annoyed & just needed my items to arrive. Someone called me & told me that my shipment could be expedited & would reach me no later than August 20 & demanded I pay an upcharge of $900. By this time, I had already been assigned a driver & was hoping to at least get a delivery by August 14. To be expected to pay to get my goods delivered before August 20 - which was already going to happen regardless, was completely preposterous. This just showed that this company just wanted to swindle me out of MORE money after spending three whole weeks with my goods at their storage facility & not actually sending it out in a timely manner - like promised. It makes no sense to me that my items sat in AZ for over two weeks while I was already in MD because this company did not feel the need to actually try & deliver my items in a timely manner. My calls & appeals to get my items to me was completely ignored by everyone at this company.Of the numerous problems that I faced while dealing with this company the worst was the driver, Assaf, who was very rude, aggressive, & completely unwilling to work with me or management at my apartment complex. He demanded that I pay for any parking tickets that he might receive by parking outside of the loading dock because he could not maneuver the truck into the loading dock due to his ineptitude. I was never told to have to pay for any parking tickets that the driver may get due to his negligence & it was nowhere in the contract. That is part of the business & something they need to deal with on their end. That is not, & should not, be the responsibility of the customer & also should not be DEMANDED from the customer. Assaf did not let me talk to his boss when I asked to get confirmation of being required to pay for a parking ticket & refused to move my stuff until I agreed to pay for the parking ticket. My friend, management at my apartment, & I did not feel safe with Assaf. His treatment of us was offensive, improper, & completely repulsive. He took advantage of the fact that we were two young girls & he exploited the situation. He wasted 3 hours outside & only agreed to move my items after I signed a h& written statement that said that I agreed to pay for a parking ticket, if he got one. I called Lifetime Moving & Storage & said that I was extremely uncomfortable paying cash to Assaf after the way he treated me & they gave me no alternative & I was forced to give him the cash. I was not allowed to speak to a manager to remedy the situation either.Assaf blackmailed, threatened, & extorted his way through this entire delivery. He spent over 4 hours parked outside & did not receive a single ticket, yet he put up such an uproar about it, wasted all of our time to create a ruckus about something that had little/no chance of happening. He did not respect me, the customer, in any way. Furthermore, he completely disrespected & insulted my friend & my apartment manager. I felt so humiliated & demeaned by his treatment of me during this whole process, & no one at Lifetime Moving & Storage helped me during this situation. I was left to fend for myself against an aggressive & rude man. I will encourage everyone to never use this moving company ever. Not one step during this entire endeavor was simple, easy, or stress-free for me, & that is unacceptable. As a customer, I paid to have my items moved in a timely manner & only received insufficient, third-rate, worthless service that caused me nothing but pain & anxiety. At destination, I had multiple items that were damaged.
