Lifetime Moving & Storage

I was moving cross country and started my search for a moving company.  After getting quotes from around 10 different companies, I made a decision to go with Lifetime Moving. At first I was a little bit worried because their price was much lower than the other companies I spoke with. They had such great reviews, so I decided to go with them. Amanda explained everything to me over the phone including any extra charges that could occur.  The other companies I called had the same fees. The day of my move, the men showed up on time and were very professional. They took great care of my stuff and it wasn't stressful at all. Their inventory system is wonderful and I wasn't worried that anything would get lost. My belongings stayed in storage until I found a home. I called Cari to let her know my move in date and she got right on it. My belongings arrived within 2 weeks and the moving crew again was very professional.  I moved into a complex where a semi-truck wouldn't fit, so I had to pay extra for a shuttle. This was explained to me ahead of time, so no surprises here. Even with that extra fee, I paid significantly less that what Mayflower, Allied, Atlas, Colonial etc. quoted me.  I would definitely use Lifetime Moving again in the future. If you are doing a local move in the Phoenix area, there is no better choice. Jay, Mike, and Joel were the best movers I have ever dealt with. I would also recommend them for long distance moves too. They are a great company.

Horrible!!! Worst customer service in history of all moving companies! I'm pretty sure their motto is "We will be so rude and condescending to you that we could piss off a nun in 20 seconds or less!"I'm going on day 14 of no belongings and no update or explanation on when my items will even be taken out of storage much less when they will arrive! #bringusourstuffUpdate******Hey Carol - thanks for responding and validating my claims that your customer service is both rude and condescending. You demonstrated both very well in your response. I appreciate you reiterating that indeed you can not tell me when my items will be taken out of storage or delivered and you are correct your staff has given me that exact same message multiple times - which is kind of what my problem is. Could you at least provide me with the 'agent' it has been assigned to?I do apologize for my use of foul language - I believe I said "this is bull sh*t" when your customer service rep told me again they had no actual information on when my items would arrive. I will clean up my act go forward - thanks for putting me in my place on that. You are right - I sure did book my move with another company and had no clue they would outsourcing to you - I will make sure I do a better job of reading the fine print next time I need to move cross country. This was totally my mistake!Still waiting on the call from your Supervisor - I will start practicing my cooperation skills now. #bringusourstuff

Amy and her crew made sure I knew what was going on with the shipment from start to finish.  Good company.  Very successful move and I would not hesitate recommending this company to anyone looking for a mover whether a full household or just some pieces of furniture.

I have used this company several times over the past few years and they were excellent when picking up my household furnishings and trucking them off to storage.  I tipped them pretty well.  But when delivering the shipment from storage in Phoenix to my location in Seattle, I experienced one of those holding-my-stuff-hostage situations.  I thought that only happened on the internet!  They packed everything onto a semi truck (18 wheeler) and weren't able to negotiate the narrow street where I was to move (residential area, cars parked on both sides of the street) and the various storage facilities parking my daughter hastily arranged for me in my absence (I was still in Phoenix).  The option was to pay extra $$$ (maybe as little as $1000) to get a smaller truck and make a few "shuttle" trips.  While my daughter was on the phone with Lifetime reps in Phoenix - by now it was getting dark and was raining - the trucker left her at one of the storage facilities (which had closed).  When she located the driver, he said Lifetime had told him to go to another storage location across town.  He failed to tell my daughter this.  At last, my daughter found a larger facility with a larger parking lot and my shipment was delivered the next day.For this I paid $8000.  My daughter gave up two days of work (she's a well-known commercial artist/designer and bills at $90/hour).This experience was very disappointed as I am a repeat customer - but no more!

Ron and Adam absolutely did a great job. Packed and unpacked super fast and organized. Even made the extra effort to bring a sofa upstairs and fit it through a narrow doorway. Wow these guys are amazing!
