I was given the task of contacting Daniels for a quote on an upcoming move for our office.  I wasn't given a number to call so of course I Google the company by name.  First thing I notice is their one star Yelp review that's after their website listing. I read through quite a bit of horrible reviews, come to think of it I don't recall seeing any good ones.  I contacted my coworker who asked I call them to see if she had used them before. She said she had, twice. So I went ahead and called as she had nothing negative to say giving them the benefit of the doubt.  I was connected to a gentleman for a quote who quickly returned my call only to tell me he would pass on my info to another gentleman that handles commercial quotes.  Mr. Dan Lynch then contacted me and we made arrangements for him to come by the office for a walk through the next day between 12 and 1pm.  Next day comes, and noon rolls around, then 12:30 rolls around, then 1 rolls around....no Dan.  I had previously decided to wait to eat lunch until after our walk through as I didn't want to miss his arrival. Well, now I'm starving and haven't heard a word from the guy. I know people sometimes have a hard time finding our office so I'm expecting a call at any moment for directions. No call. No call to say I'm lost and no call to say I'm running late. Shortly after 4:30pm, 3 and a half hours after our scheduled meeting time, this freakin guys strolls in the door like his shit don't stink. He announces his name and the company he's with and my coworker says "oh we were expecting you several hours ago".  He nonchalantly says he got held up, and goes on to ask if we mind if he takes a quick walk around. Not even an apology.  And ummm held up? For 3 and a half hours? Was there a bank robbery going on today I didn't hear about? Did they demand your phone so you couldn't call to let us know you would be late? Seriously Dan, I gave up on you by 2pm.  Go ahead and put your quote together and email it over. I'll be sure to put it right in the trash file. Have some appreciation for your potential customers time. You made it very clear you have no interest in gaining our business. All these other reviews were a major red flag. I should've gone with my gut on this one. Way to represent your company's name buddy! Totally had the chance to prove people wrong and you failed miserably!5/27/16.......Still haven't received the quote.  Shocker.

I guess one star is as generous as I can be. This was an interstate move and thus, sent out to another company. Sadly, broken and damaged goods, many not even reported by the team even though they were damaged during the move. Difficult to get claims reimbursed - as in 5+ months. And worst of all, empty prescription drug bottles arriving when we finally unpacked. Do your research and look for other options. My company has also switched vendors.

I scheduled a local morning move, and so indicated when booked and completed their contract.  This was a local move, only two pieces of furniture with two stops..  First stop 4 miles away, second stop another 15 miles up the road.A Morning pickup was imperative as the second stop involved a home owner that was catching a flight out of town.I never heard from dispatch the day before or the morning of move, which was unsettling.  These are  the facts that occurred the morning of the move:8:00 I called dispatch was told I was scheduled for 8:00 am but truck had "mechanical issues" and they would now arrive between 9-9:30am.10:00 I called dispatch, was told truck had left the warehouse would be there in 15 minutes.10:45. I called again, got their voice mail & left pleading message.11:00 called again was told truck should be here soon, it was definitely on its way....11:15 driver called he said he was about 30 minutes away.12:00 truck arrived.12:55 move completed ( one stop, one piece of furniture)Second stop on the move had to be abandoned as we had run out of time. So, one piece of furniture was driven 4 miles down the road...cost over $300.These folks are totally indifferent, apparently unable to dial a phone or tell time and are certainly not capable of uttering the words "we're sorry".

Not impressed . For 2 days couldn't get a call back and left messages for 2 different people. Had to call a third time and got a lady that seemed kindof rude . Said they do not do any type of binding not to exceed agreement. The other local Atlas Affiliate does as does Dierks. Between that and my having to hunt them down just for info i decided they didn't really seem to want or need my business .

Terrible intrastate move.  The load shifted during transport and resulted in a lot of damage.  Daniel's settled but 90 days I still have not received a check.
