This was an excellent moving company! They were on time, courteous and considerate. The company only accepts cash, charges extra for stairs, and you pay for an additional hour of travel time and 15% for gas/travel. I would highly recommend them!

This company is operating in San Diego now as well. I called for quotes and they did not inform me of the one hour service fee or supposed fuel surcharge which by the way has nothing to do with the distance of the move. I received an email with a quote that did disclose this thankfully and I canceled. The email did not list a phone number or an address. I would think twice before using this company.

These guys booked us for a Sunday and never showed up. They told us they would be there between 8am and 10am, and we called at 10:15 with no answer. We called a couple more times until noon and realized they are not coming. Apache finally called us at 1:15 pm and when we asked where they were he said we were not booked for today. We asked why we got a confirmation call the night before and an arrival window if we were not booked and he had no answer. He did apologized and said again that he did not know we were booked. If you want to know how my story ends, look up A to Z Valley Wide movers for how I resolved this issue with no help from Apache.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I called Apache Movers to make an appointment for a move of my daughter's furniture on April 28. I was quoted $45.00 per hour, with a 2-hour minimum and 1-hour drive-time, plus 10% for fuel. The agreement was made for them to arrive at 1pm on Friday, April 30.This morning, April 30, a woman called from Apache Movers and said she had forgotten to ask me about stairs at the apartment, that if there were stairs it would be extra. I told her that I felt she should have told me that on Wednesday when the appointment was made. However, I agreed to pay $25 for stairs at the new location. My daughter then called me at 11:30 and asked why the movers were already there? They had knocked on her apartment door and had her sign a form. I immediately called the office and asked the woman why they were already at the apartment, and advised her that my daughter would not be ready until 1pm - the agreed upon time. She said that she would call the movers and advise them that she wasn't ready and to come back at 1pm, the scheduled appointment time. They left her apartment and my daughter left to get boxes and run an errand to the bank.I had called the moving office back to ensure that they would accept Visa for payment. The woman advised they only took cash, no checks or credit cards. I expressed concern about that, as it does not allow for any record of payment as a customer. I expressed concern about their payment terms as well, because I was never advised that they only accepted cash when the appointment was made for the move. Nevertheless, this move needed to occur today, so my daughter went to the bank to get cash to pay for the move. The two movers called my daughter at 12:45 inquiring when she would return to her apartment. They had come back to the apartment at 12:45 - still not at the 1pm agreed upon time. They wouldn't wait until 1pm, and proceeded to transport her things to her new apartment. She did not even get the opportunity to finish boxing her things and will have to drive separate trips to move the rest of her belongings. She had minimal items to move including a sofa, love seat, table and two chairs, queen bed, frame and six boxes. They were done loading, driving to the new address and unloading in one hour and 45 minutes. The cost for the move should have totaled $176. This included their 2-hour minimum, 1-hour trip time which totaled $135, the stairs at $25, and $16 for their 10% fuel charge. They proceeded to try to overcharge her by asking her for $300 cash. In addition, they had tried to sell her a box for $3 when on the form it clearly stated $2. I had the cash to pay them, but was not willing to pay them for an over charged amount. My daughter called me, as I am paying for the move and am in New York. I immediately called the moving office and advised that the movers were trying to overcharge my daughter. The woman said she would have to speak with the drivers. The drivers told her that she had signed the form. I reconfirmed with her that I had spoken with her at 11:30 requesting them to come at 1pm at the agreed upon time because we weren't ready for the movers and she had agreed, contacted the drivers and told them to come back at 1pm.She then said the owner would call me. The owner called me and had no idea what they were charging me. He said that they told him she had signed and that they started working at 11:30, which is a lie. They had called my daughter at 12:45 wondering when she would be back because they had come back again early after being told to return at 1pm.I walked through the amount that I had been quoted, and the time that had been estimated which was less than their minimum. I told him that either they could accept the amount that had been quoted, $176 in cash, or we would need to pursue this in court. He put me on hold with his drivers four times and came back with the response that he would only accept $300. I told him that his drivers should leave and that we would need to pursue this in court. In the meantime, the drivers had been knocking on my daughter's door and tried to enter with the door locked. She is 19 and was feeling unsafe with their behavior toward her and not respecting that she had gone inside to call regarding the charge they had quoted her. I advised my daughter to call the police for her safety, and to request them to leave the premises.

Don't use them!!!! I wanted to save money and boy was that a mistake. I used them, and during the move they cracked my dresser and on my refrigerator they broke one handle off and loosened the other. They also took one of my house doors off the hinges to move an item and now it can't even open. They are refusing to do anything about the refrigerator so it is on us to fix it! They said they will glue the crack on the dresser. The cost of these two items to fix is over $800. Now, unless they take responsibility for what they done we will end up in court!
