We booked this mover to unload our rental truck when we got to Phoenix. 3 days before our arrival I tried contacting them numerous times but never heard back from them. Finally the day before our arrival the booking company ( not AJ’s) contacted me & told me AJ’s would not be able to unload us. I had to hire another company at the last minute for a much higher price. I would not use this company.

I used AJ’s moving service on October 4th.

The night before the move he came by with his 16 year old son. He said his son was working with him and gave me the impression they would both be there for the move. In reality, AJ came and went twice for less than an hour of an 8 hour move. In my opinion, sending a 16 year old boy to supervise a move is inappropriate for a variety of reasons.

They packed and repacked my belongings tossing things around inside of the truck. They lost hardware to a bed and to a ceiling fan. They broke the screen on my 55" TV screen. They packed it and unpacked it. It was working prior to packing and did not work the first time I turned it on after. When I brought this to AJs attention, he first said he had insurance to cover it but back-peddled and basically accused me of fraud, saying there was no damage to the box and he had to protect his business. In reality, the box would not need to show damage for the damage to have happened.

I tried to work out an exchange for work I needed done. AJ spent about 3 hours and most of that time he was on the phone with another client who was very unhappy.

Since he will not respond to my requests any longer, this is my last resort. I recommend you don’t use his services.
