Please do yourself a huge life favor and do not under any circumstances work with this company.  I initially chose them because the guy named Mark on the phone said all the right things and they were the cheapest, but you definitely get far less than you pay for.If you read no more, just read this much: It took 57 days for my stuff to go from California to Pennsylvania, and for the first 39 days they couldn't tell me where it was.  I called Honeybee 27 times (I checked my call logs) over the course of a two week span asking, and was promised by 4 different people that they'd find out the answer and call me right back.  I received exactly 0 returned phone calls, even when one of them "gave me his word as a man" that he would call back within the hour.  They know what to say when you're talking to them, but follow through on absolutely nothing.  The customer service is horrendously awful in every way.  I actually had to work directly with the moving company that they outsourced the driving to (Air1 Moving in my case) in order to get *any* information on where my things were or when they might be delivered. On the pickup day in California (November 23) I learned that the move was only covered up to the amount that I paid, meaning if you want any insurance on your things whatsoever you're going to have to pay a much higher price.  They told me that it could be up to 18 business days from when I could receive the goods in Pennsylvania (which started on November 24th), and that they would call giving me a date range that they would be there, and followup the day before to confirm actual times. They did indeed call on November 28, telling me there was a 50% chance they would send a truck the following week, and asked if I would be available from December 2-7 to receive.  I told them I would be available every day except December 2, and was informed that by not agreeing to being 100% available on every day in the delivery window, that I am waiving the contractual right to an 18 business day delivery.  I told them that although that policy seems ridiculous, I understand and they can put it on the next truck and I will do my best to be available the following delivery range so I could receive my stuff. After two weeks of not hearing anything at all from the moving company that Honeybee outsourced the job to (Air1), or Honeybee, I started to make calls to Honeybee.  On every call they would put me on hold and attempt to reach Air1 with no success.  Every time they told me they would keep trying and would call me right back as soon as they got ahold of them.  After a dozen or so calls in four days getting this same runaround, I pleaded to be hooked up with the supervisor so I could get some information on my things.  The man told me that he was in fact the supervisor and apologized for how things had been handled.  He told me he would make it his personal responsibility to get the information and would email me within the hour.  I asked him what I should do if I don't receive a response from him, because that's what had been happening so far.  He 100% promised me I'd receive an email, but if for any reason I needed to get in touch with him he gave me his "personal number".  I received no email.  The next day I called his personal number to find out that it was a voice mail that was not personal at all.  I left a message and never received a call back. The last straw for me was speaking with yet another man a week later pleading to try and figure out where my stuff was and why I hadn't even been contacted in over three weeks from anyone.  He apologized for everything and "gave me his word as a man" that he would get to the bottom of it that day and give me a call back.  He did not and I never heard from him again. At this point I took it upon myself to call Air1 and work directly with them, and had a bit more success.  Although they're less incompetent, it still wasn't an enjoyable experience and took me weeks to finally get them to give me a delivery date.  On Friday January 16, the driver informed me that it would likely be a Monday delivery.  On Sunday, he texted saying that he could either do 10pm on the Sunday night, or 7am on MLK day.  Both wonderful options.  Once they actually arrived, the move went smoothly, though they did make me give them $75 cash because they had to carry my 30 boxes more than 75 feet.I'm sure not 100% of their moves are quite this awful, but the service was so consistently bad from beginning to end it's difficult for me to imagine that someone could be happy working with this company.  Choosing Honeybee will likely take years off your life, and I promise you it's worth it to go with another company even if it costs you a few hundred extra dollars.  I have regretted using Honeybee every hour of every day for the last two months because it has made my life absolutely miserable.

This is not a moving company; it is a broker, which supposedly means they shop your moving needs among multiple movers and select the best one.  What it really means is that Honeybee (Mitch) isn't responsible for the actual move and the actual movers aren't bound by what Honeybee (Mitch) promised.  Bait & switch.  Worst move ever by a magnitude of 10!

My mother hired Honeybee Movers for her move from Massachusetts to Minnesota. They gave her a low price and everything was good until the company showed up to move my 70 year old mother. The quoted price suddenly almost doubled because she had 5 more boxes than quoted. They were non-accommodating, and dishonest by not honoring their written quote. The salesman who quoted her no longer worked for the company so nothing could be done for us. We could not pay double the price. We thankfully found a POD-type company and movers willing to move her the next day (they were great) but the entire experience with Honeybee was dreadful. Be very aware! This company tried to take advantage of a 70 year old woman. About a week later someone called her asking to take down a negative review I left for her (since she's not so internet savvy) in exchange for a partial return of her deposit. She declined telling him it was the principal and not the money that mattered to her. A couple weeks after that I received a harassing email calling me a bi*#h and other nasty things, of which I reported to the Better Business Bureau. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra money for a professional dependable service, this company was one of the worst experiences of our lives.
